I am a mother, a wife, a grandmother, and a child of God! And I have been practicing financial planning, through savings and then investing in stocks and mutual funds, since 1996 (for 24 years already), even while I was just a stay-at-home mom, then!
I am also a chemical engineer, an entrepreneur, and a financial educator! And I want to share with you all the lessons I’ve learned going through these life stages.
Aspiring to be an entrepreneur and an investor, I had to train and learn from the very best mentors in the financial industry, by joining the esteemed Platinum Wealth Circle of Bro. Bo Sanchez for 6 years. As my mentors; Mr. Edward Lee of COL Financials, Mr. Rex Mendoza of Rampver, Ayala Land and Philam Life, and other mentors, but especially Bro. Bo, were all strong advocates that all Filipinos should learn to save, invest, and become millionaires, so they can help others! Thus, I started to share my experiences on how to achieve financial freedom, thru IMG, as a trainer and a Senior Marketing Director (SMD).
To be an effective financial educator, I became a Certified Financial Educator (CFE) of Heartland Institute of Financial Education (HIFE), based in Colorado, USA.
I had been an OFW in the 1990’s, working in Bahrain and in a Cruise ship, based in Florida, USA to the Caribbean! So my passion to teach financial literacy to my fellow Pinoy OFW’s is so close to my heart! As I know how it feels to just give our hard-earned money to our families and sometimes forget that “paying our self” is also very important! We cannot give what we don’t have, so we have to prosper our self first so we can continue helping more people! Our money should work harder for us and always remember to save, invest, and spend wisely.
My financial advocacy travels lead me to different places in the Philippines – Manila, Pagadian, Cebu, Siquijor, Palawan, Bohol, Tuguegarao, Dagupan, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, to name a few …. and abroad – Japan, London, Wales, Germany, Ireland, Isle of Man, California, New York, Las Vegas, Singapore, Malaysia, and hopefully more coming!
My fervent wish is for all Pinoys to be truly wealthy, in their finances, in their family life, and in their spiritual life most of all!
